Your First 30 Days: The Exact Steps to Start

Week 1: Assess

Day 1: Download Data Maturity Assessment; assess yourself (Level 1-5). Day 2: Start Self-Audit Workbook; list all systems (CRM, accounting, email, storage, analytics, spreadsheets). Day 3: For each system document what it holds, who uses it, backup, access; identify biggest pain point. Day 4: Answer decision questions (biggest problem, worth to solve, time, budget, timeline); decide DIY / Consultant / Coaching. Day 5: Get team input ("How would organizing data help you?"); summarize maturity, problems, approach.

Week 2: Decide

Day 8: DIY: download DIY Starter Kit; Consultant: get 3 referrals, schedule calls; Coaching: review program, schedule call. Day 9-12: DIY: start Data Organization DIY Kit; Consultant: interview consultants; Coaching: have conversation, apply if interested. Result: first action taken and clearer picture.

Week 3: Plan

Day 15: Create simple plan (audit → cleanup → documentation → automation if DIY; or consultant/coaching timeline). Share with team. Day 16-20: DIY: do the audit (4-5 hrs); Consultant: prepare for arrival; Coaching: prepare for start.

Week 4: Start

Day 22: Execute. Start the work (first template, first meeting, or first cohort call). Days 23-30: DIY: 2-3 hrs on audit, quick wins, start cleanup; Consultant: be responsive; Coaching: engage, first module, identify quick win. By Day 30: clear understanding, approach decided, execution started, team aware, momentum, 3-6 month roadmap.
